Liranaftate is a new type of third-generation thiocarbamic acid antifungal drug. It is a third-class chemical drug. It is a squalene epoxidase inhibitor. It inhibits the squalene epoxidation reaction of fungal cell membranes. It hinders the synthesis of ergosterol, which is a constituent of cell membranes, and exerts antifungal effects. The antifungal activity is 8 times that of tolnaftate. The effect of Dermatophytes Chemicalbook is significantly better than clotrimazole. It has strong antifungal effects on skin filamentous fungi (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton), and also shows antifungal effects on other filamentous fungi, dark fungi, and bimorphic fungi. It is suitable for the treatment of tinea capitis, tinea hands, tinea pedis, tinea pedis, onychomycosis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor, and candidal vulvovaginitis.
